There were many risks in the medieval times you had the black plague people chucking out there toilet droppings from their windows so you better watch your head otherwise you would find yourself covered in very dirty and nasty things.Sickness was a massive problem since there were no cures and it was highly contagious. Further more houses were built of wood and are built next to each other and if one house was to burn all of the houses around would go along with it. Be careful of where you can get your water source from because when people tip their sewage out the window it will go down the drain and in the lakes so I suggest find a water source from a well or a lake that is away from all the towns or villages.
